So I chuckled when I saw my son’s work. I never thought that Lady Liberty and I bore ANY resemblance, but there you have it!
I’m very aware that he doesn’t see the color of people yet, and it makes me long for his innocence to stay. If I were to overthink it, I’d say he probably sees her resemblance to me because of what she represents. But that would be me overthinking it! He probably just equates her crown to my big fluffy hair!
Anyway, his teacher pointed out the color, and THEN he noticed. Oh for us to see things like children do.
